She’s been briefed about the truth about the Jovians, and will investigate on the matter further. in return, she mentions about suspicious activity at the Mineral Asteriod MO-III. Though it looks there is one more thing to take care of, so Zerker orders to open a transmission to the Nadesico. At said battleship, Venasaur and Cookie are talking. They mention about something kept at the Lunar Dock, but shortly after the jig is up for them as they’re discovered. And it seems, for Venasaur the OTHER jig is up… he’s Nergal’s President!? Now on the bridge, Venasaur asks how they figured it out. Well, for starters, Fia saw him at a party once. You know, those upper-class social gatherings or what-have-you. And also… that Nergal’s work attendant panflet has in the first page his name and picture clear with the “Nergal Group President” title… … *double facepalm* Really, it was that easy to figure it ou!? In any case, Venasaur opts now to spill the beans now. Meanwhile, at MO-III, Doga is addressing a lot of assembled soldiers. He is delivering a speech of how they’ll make Makaze’s goal a reality. Shirley doubts their numbers will be enough, but Doga reveals they’re receiving the cooperation from both Giganos and Shadow Mirror. At this Shirley realizes why she was stopped from meeting with Phoenix, to not sway him out of cooperating. Also, Doga reveals they have… the Devil Gundam too!? Is that thing ever gonna be stopped for good!? Anyway, Doga states that before beginning, he wants to get rid of… a rebel? Huh, it’s PersonaEmblem! Persona steps forward stating he doesn’t care how he was found out, and as he points a gun at Doga, he states he’ll kill him right here and now. However, someone in turn raises his own gun and points it at Persona, telling him to surrender. It’s… Marthur!? Back with us, Venasaur begins his explanation. He had been aware of the Jovians for quite a while, but kept quiet as per Federation request of having the whole matter concealed. In the meantime, if Nergal wanted to ascend to the same position Anaheim has with the army, they neded a weapon. And so, with the pretext of rescuing the civilians from Mars, their real goal of sending the Nadesico was to gather the research data from the Nergal Mars base, and from Mars’s ancient ruins. At this James sepaks up explaning that at Mars’s poles lie ancient ruins left from an alien civilation, long ago. The technology that allows both the Distrotion Field, and the Boson Jump, it all comes from those ruins. He reveals his father was also aware of the ruins, as he used them in his research for his Meganoid project. In the meantime, the fact that the Jovians were able to find and use the ruins as well was the reason Nergal was interested in eradicating them without the truth being found out, for both it and the Federation’s interest. The group berates them for causing war between them and the Jovians, though they defend themselves stating the Jovians had long planned to take their anger on us regardless. They are more thinking on how with the way things are developing, it will make Nergal’s position rise to prominence. But before things go further, the alarms go off. It’s the Jovians, and they’re heading to the Moon! Dread explains that now they’re aware Nergal is trying to use the Boson Jump too, they’re targeting Nergal’s bases, so that means… the Lunar Docks! Meanwhile, it seems the Skull Moon is also under attack too. Godot is quick to use this chance to escape! Back with us, Ace is able to contact Samven at the Lunar Docks. She explains about the Jovians, and that they’ll be heading there as soon as possible. The revelation seems to stir up Samven once more, though. Meanwhile, the Jovians have reached the Lunar Dock. Samven deploys, and it looks like it now has a bone to pick with them for what happened at Mars, while Zak in return has a bone to pick about their banishment. Oh boy… Stage begin! Party Samven (Lv23) – Aestevalis [Lunar] Enemy Zak (Lv28) – Daimajin AI (Lv27) – Katombo x4 AI (Lv26) – Batta x8 Not a good start. At least it’s not a defend the base mission. A few turns in, Charlie and co. arrive! The girls want Samven to stop fighting, but he won’t back down, he states he’s aware of the true nature of the Jovians, but he still will fight, for what they did to the Mars Utopia Colony. Charlie states he’ll fight Samven 1-on-1, but before long Vega units arrive! They seemed to be in pursuit of Godot, but instead stumbled into the Lunar Docks. The Jovians have no choice but to retreat back to Jupiter. Despite Samven’s protests, the girls want to go too, and Charlie leaves with them. Zak whoever is intent in fulfilling his mission, which is the destruction of Nergal’s new battleship. Huh. However, the Vega units will not give up the chance to wipe out Earthlings, but suddenly the real Godot shows up! At this Zak leaves too, not content with the recent developings. And so it’s just two against the new enemies. Party reinforce Godot (Lv26) – Grendizer Neutral reinforce RainbowSkittles (Lv29) – Battle Bokokan AI (Lv28) – Saucer Beast Gingin x3 AI (Lv27) – Battle Robo Dali [ball] x6 Some more turns in, we finally arrive. The Lunar Docks have suffered heavy damage, but they’re glad Samven is alright, and Astra and co. are glad to see Godot is alright too. Samven states about Titania and Icarus, and that he won’t step down and he’ll keep fighting. The other note how he has changed, and we sortie. Party reinforce Zerker (Lv27) – Nahel Argama AceTactician (Lv28) – Nadesico Knight (Lv27) – Great Mazinger AstraLunaSol (Lv15) – Mazinger Z Pikachu (Lv28) – Dragonar Type-3 Custom SRC (Lv28), Sara (Lv28) – Kerot JamesBCrazy (Lv28) – Daitarn 3 Gregor (Lv28) – Dragonar Type-1 Custom AcaciaSgt (Lv26) – Soulgain AceNoctali (Lv26) – God Gundam Nightmare (Lv26) – Full-Armor Gundam Elieson (Lv26) – Daimos Lux (Lv26), Raven (Lv26), TheFush (Lv26) – Getter Robo G GoD (Lv26), Cluie (Lv26), Comet (Lv26), ThGhosteon (Lv26), AgileTit-Tyrant (Lv26) – Combattler V Now that’s what I call a standard stage. Skittles retreats in the usual below certain HP thing, but other than that, nothing of major importance happens. At this point, enemies retreating is becoming a no issue since my forces can hit for more than their 30% in a single hit, or with Support Attack. Once the battle’s over, Zerker wonders why Giganos didn’t interfere in the fight at all. Anyway, we move into the base itself. Unfortunately, the new battleship, the Shakuyaku, got destroyed. However, it’s attached Y Unit is still in good shape, so we’ll be moving it over to the Nadesico. Meanwhile, Crystal tells Sanger of Anaheim also having a project being worked in secret, that it’s now ready and so wants him to go pick it up. Meanwhile, at MO-III, Doga states it’s time to move. Freohr wonders why so soon, and Pride states he wanted to get some help from both Vega and the Jovians too, but it may take time, so it’s best to move now. Uh-oh, they plan to strike against Londo Bell now. Anyway, an alarm goes off, and the soldiers detect 3 incoming Gundam types. Expectively, it’s Ein, Coaster, and TheEnd. They’re ready to bust in and rescue Shirley. However, Amelia warps in to the scene. The trio is aware of the involvement with the various factions, but Amelia ain’t telling things. Just then, two more Gundams appear. It’s Persona and Marthur! But it’s obvious they’re not here for friendly support, as their red color on the map and the fact Marthur attack Ein makes it obvious. Coaster demands to know if Persona has betrayed them, but the latter denies being him. Huh. Either way, he attacks Coaster, but while doing so, he sends a secret transmission, stating about the Devil Gundam and to investigate. Hah, so even now he’s still doing his undercover work. Yay! Back at the Nahel Argama, Godot is being asked about the Vega Alliance forces. He states Skull Moon is hard to pinpoint its location, and it must’ve beefed up its defenses again after his escape. They offer him the chance to be left at Von Vraun, but he states he’ll remain, to keep fighting. Samven wants to know why, and he states he’ll fight to protect his new home, Earth. His previous shameful actions, that of fleeing Planet Freid, and eventual capture, it’s all in the past now, and so will no longer run away, he’ll fight now. This makes Samven think of things, and excuses himself back to the Nadesico. The others leave him be. Once there, he finally reaches a resolve. He figures the Jovians are no different from Godot, they’re too fighting for the home they lost. It’s no use to run away then. But right in the middle of his thoughts, he gets interrupted by a sudden explosion! He is able to see that something was shot from the Moon towards the Earth! Back at the Nahel Argama bridge, Saint messages in again. He’s furious, go figure, but tells it was the Mass Driver. It has resume firing, and has damaged the Belfast and California bases. He now wants us to go to the Mass Driver right now and destroy it. Zerker figures it was for this they didn’t interfere at the Lunar Docks, and sets course to the Mass Driver once the Y Unit gets attached to the Nadesico.
