So what's this touhouvania thing.

I liked EoSD's setting and all, so this is kind of interesting me. This, and the ys touhou game.

I've barely played any 'metroidvania' outside of the NES metroid, and super metroid, so enh.

Now this is a touhou game I could easily recommend.

Still the one strike against it because touhou, but it gets largely overruled by the game itself

Metroidvania refers to the Castlevania games, starting with Symphony of the Night(go play it) and pretty much all of them afterwards

I was interested in 2huvania until I heard the bosses are danmaku?

They are yes.

You have to learn the pattern(don't recommend) or rush 'em(recommended)

Except the extra boss, rushing her down will get you annhilated

Though in touhouvania 2, you can rush the extra boss there since she's considerably easier

But that's partly because Sakuya plays better than RayMOO

SotN is really easy. Only getting 100% is the real challenge, still very fun.

Also, in touhouvania 2, Sakuya and Reimu have the Richter and Dracula encounter, wine glass and all, was nice.

I decided to play fusion instead for some reason, but I think I would've liked that a lot more.

I've kind of lost interest in Metroid since then, oh well.

Zero Mission is my favorite Metroid.

It's also the best remake in my eyes.

Basically it's the gold standard that I compare all other remakes to.

Hi Criz

I was putting up with Metroid until I got stuck in a lava pit and couldn't jump out of it

then i was like "yeah fuck this"

scrub

I should've just played that and skipped out on the NES one.

It was a nice experience for me though, I think, playing an NES game.

The first Final Fantasy I ever played was the original NES one

Hi Crizzizzizzizzizzizzizzizzizz

You know, that's the fourth time you said that in one day. ^^;

hey Crizzie since you like FE11 did you try my patch?

No. I don't enjoy emulating DS, sorry.
