James Bond
Hey BLS, do you know what I just realised?
The Envoy of the Beginning
Is the first Prime good? Yes. My favorite Metroid games in order: Super Metroid Metroid Prime 2 Metroid Prime Metroid Zero Mission Metroid 2 Metroid Fusion Metroid Prime 3 Metroid NES Haven't played Hunters, Pinball, or Other M. Prime 3 used to be my least favorite, but I have gotten more irritated by the first Metroid game on the NES than by any other Metroid game I have played. Hey BLS, do you know what I just realised? Hmmmm?
Emeraldfox
So like, I was playing a game called Bloody Vampire. A Metroidvania game. I had it downloaded for a while, I took a nap from it because I was too dumb to figure out an easy pattern of a boss. Anyway, defense is best power up. It's a cute game that I knew I'd have fun with. NOW I'M TRAINING MY RHYPERIOR SO SHE WON'T BE DEAD WEIGHT WHEN I GO THROUGH THE ELITE FOUR FOR EVS.

ZemZem
I might get Metroid Prime. I like trying out game series on the GCN first. "Because I cheated. Just like everyone else in this damn card game."
The Envoy of the Beginning
Celica is hotter than Tana I find Tana pretty as opposed to hot though. Feena, Sena, and the Sonozaki twins on the other hand....

Komeiji Koishi
Metroid Prime is a good way to start. Just know that the controls might take some getting used to. There's also the Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii, but that's tougher to come across.
Emeraldfox
I started with Prime 1, and I loved it.

secondworld
Playing Metroid Prime 2. Ah yes, excessive back-tracking the game. Featuring frustrating bosses. I have never played any Metroid games... Zero Mission is a good place to start. Edited April 6, 2013 by David the SecondWorld

The Envoy of the Beginning
Zero Mission's easy and normal modes are too easy. But you got to play and complete normal mode to unlock hard mode. And I never went back to the easier modes since then.

secondworld
Having to unlock hard mode is literally the only thing I really dislike about Zero Mission, it's my favorite game in the series.
