Sure, you can get stronger at brawls by learning new moves... but the only true way to get better with a character is to use their spirit!

Fully utilise all of their moves, and play like they would!

So I should fight for my friends?

Try to learn japanese?

And run around as an illiterate pink ball who eats everything in sight and take their powers?

Makes sense.....

Okay so that's

Act like a 12 year old that can wield a sword, and bomb's

Get a kick ass sword, learn some Japanese, and look like a chick

Hide in a box

I know ecactly what Arc means!

Become one with your main.

I've actually done that before.

Though, if you do that with one character, it's hard to switch for another.

You all should try facing at least 10 random CPUs (lvl 9) in a row, without losing once. 3 stock, no items. It helped me bring my game up a level.

Hm. I'm going to try that. Sounds like it'll help me out.

That sounds easy, considering how much easier level 9's are in this game then they were in Melee....

Also forgot to mention, you need to learn how to side dodge, it is a useful countering technique.

Yeah I'm in the middle of that it's a great way to disturb someone if you just use roll's to evade for a bit, and when they pull out a move that cover's behind them side dodging will prevent you from taking the damage that is coming behind them
