Liz Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 in my recent playthrough of RD, i aboosed of Leanne, lasted for about 350 turns in the Lucia chapter in which you go to Ludveck's place, and made her reach level 40. i was like YAY! then i played the endgame for part 2, and she was VERY useful in that chapter. since there's no healing units besides Elincia, Leanne was worth her weight in gold with the new galdrar she learned. Mufasa Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 Note: The technique is called 'Recovery'. Usually I just BEXp abuse any Heron that I plan on using, but it sounds like this is a better idea. The only problem is, I have little to no patience to do something like that. Plus, I wanted to use Rafiel on this run-through (My ugly people one) and I've already passed pt 1 so I have to wait till Pt 4, where it will be hard to abuse him since they're all route the enemy. Not to mention that the only way to keep the herons alive is by bringing her to the endgame with Naesala. Most of the ugly units are mad hard to raise and have a severe possiblity of turning out bad. So I'm allowing myself some good, 'not so ugly units.' Like Tauroneo, Brom, Giffca, Tanith. Units that in some light can be classified as ugly, but not neccesarily so. Also, it's sort of a 'people I never use' run through as well. For example: I've always wanted to use Astrid, but I never have. So she's someone I'm maining with in this as well. Even though she certainly is not ugly. I'm thinking of using Boyd to.
