EA support is quite good for FE6, it just has less codes than FE7 and FE( and less people hack it so there is less documentation about things, but FE6 is so similar to FE7 in events you can assume they work the same when same things are supported.

The only problem I've head of is Zeld's anti-huffman/whatever buggery wasn't actually very well done, and made problems--thus text editing problems. Which, I've heard something about that getting avoided in the FE6 re-editing thread here on the forums.

So if that riggery does avoid the problems with the text editing, then there's not really any problem with FE6.

it's not the riggery and more that one of the autopatches overwrites some graphics

and it also screws up a checksum

and some free space gets repointed wrong

so it is actually broken ;\
