Agro
For all of you soundtrack buffs, I'm not sure if this has already been found out, but I've finally found a reliable English source that's stated who the main composers are. From Kotaku.com: Update: Nintendo got back to me to let me know that some of the Awakening music was indeed composed by Rei Kendoh, with Hiroki Morishita acting as music director and main composer. So I suppose this means Yuka Tsujiyoko was not involved in this at all with the exception of the Fire Emblem theme which only plays in a few songs. It does explain why the compositional style is so different, though.
CinderSkye
Awakening has the best music I've heard in the series. Probably the best soundtrack I've heard from a non-crossover game (meaning, not SSBB or UMvC3) since Dragon Age.

Probably the best soundtrack I've heard from a non-crossover game (meaning, not SSBB or UMvC3) since Dragon Age. Agreed. I was in awe of the epicness in the music when I heard it. I just wish the main theme had more of Fire Emblem's theme. It blew me away when those strings started playing the FE theme, but then it ended 13 seconds later. :( Didn't even finish playing the first few notes. That's not saying that I dislike the main theme though. It's pretty epic.
CinderSkye
More of the main theme would be nice, I agree. It's a bit teasy.
nocturnal YL
The intro video listed Yuka Tsujiyoko as a sound supervisor. I think this has been the case for FE8~10 as well, with her giving the final greenlight to other composers' music.

She composed FE10's soundtrack, actually. that's why it's so much better
Knight
Yeah, I really love Awakening's soundtrack, but I've always loved the main theme too.

Was happy to see someone here already had it posted. No more prowling around youtube!
nocturnal YL
She composed FE10's soundtrack, actually. that's why it's so much better Oh. So that explains the difference in FE9 and FE10's music. I was under the impression that since she stopped making her own music since FE8.
