Except if you take the events of FE5 as canon, Nanna being alive at all automatically results in Leif and Nanna being explicitly married. The latter overrides the former. Also if you're considering it by-game and we're taking FE1, 3, 11, and 12 as separate games, we ought to take FE4 and FE5 as separate games. In the endings for FE5, Leif canonically marries Nanna. Which is funny and rather ironic, considering I happen to like pairs such as Eliwood X Ninian, Hector X Lyn, and Roy X Lilina. (But then again, I'm not too much of a fan of Sothe X Micaiah or Geoffrey X Elincia either. So go figure that one out.) Plus, certain supports kinda make more sense to me if Chrom doesn't marry Sumia. And I feel there's something lacking in it. Doesn't mean I won't do the pair eventually, but I'm betting it'll get as much frequency as Chrom X Maribelle with what I have in store. Just felt like getting that out of the way. Anyways, I'm likely gonna be doing Chrom X Olivia. It's such a shame that pair isn't the canon one. I'm practically a sucker for the dynamic the two have. True, it's comparable to an FE pair that I consider my least favorite. But it helps that this pair is definitely contains none of the crack of the pair in question. As far as anything else goes, I'll play the wait and see game and see what I like. I haven't looked too much into supports to truly decide what pairs in this game I like just yet. FrostyFireMage Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 I've also decided to pair Frederick with Cordelia (having these two as her parents certainly explains Severa's rebellious tsundere attitude), Vaike with Sully (Sully certainly won't stand for Vaike's meat-head behavior) and Libra with Cherche (fierce dragon lady with gentle priest guy).
