Ether
After doing some messing around in final, it appears that the maximum amount of enemies on screen at one time is capped at 50, for Normal mode at the very least. Not really useful information I wouldn't think but hey, the more you know.
Othin
Yeah, it's the same on all difficulty levels. Can come up in the easier Ultimate Training maps.

shadowofchaos
lame needs radiant dawn's 80+ enemies at once You won't be saying that when all of them have maxed stats and horrendously unfair skillsets. |D

Still, that seems to be the normal unit cap for one side in some strategy games. Not that one would normally hit the cap, mind.

nocturnal YL
lame needs radiant dawn's 80+ enemies at once Radiant Dawn was a special case. Everything was scaled up in that game. I think an enemy cap of 50 was the case for FE5 too. 60 for the GBA games, I think. Still, that seems to be the normal unit cap for one side in some strategy games. Not that one would normally hit the cap, mind. Run into that in some situations in Advance Wars games myself. Not that I actually know how to play that series. (Let's see, I often run into stalemate in Super Famicom Wars, and I simply gave up in Advance Wars 2 after seeing those large weapons on the enemy side. I've since never tried another Advance Wars again.)
IkeandMia
Playing FE first kinda ruined me on Advance Wars. The utterly disposable nature of the units in AW just flies in the face of everything FE has taught me.
