PKL
HALP im addicted to Olivia's dance animation xP. Its beautiful. Its the first Fire emblem where I cant bring myself to turn off the animations ever. Any of you feel the same? i felt a bit disoriented when I tried to play with no animations. nocturnal YL
This game's noticeable for being the first 3D Fire Emblem to feature dancing animation. FE9/10's herons have only map animations for their galdr. Same for staff usage - map animation only in FE9 and 10, full animation in FE13 (except Rescue, Physic, Fortify and Goddess Staff). I turn on battle animations in FE5, FE10 and FE13. I turn them off for the other games.
shadowofchaos
てめぇ!! But yes, the fact that they also added full staves animations was a pretty nice perk. I was thoroughly disappointed when FE12 didn't feature a dancing animation for Feena, yet had her have a sword animation.
Karasz
I always play with animations turned on, especially in this one. Not only do I like to hear the quotes that everyone says while in battle, but I like how the music changes when you enter a battle. So yeah, I won't be turning it off anytime soon. veetasoy
I turn off animations unless the soundtrack Chaos is playing (I like the Ablaze version of it) or some other tracks that I like. 90% of the time I turn them off. Especially for staff/dance animations lol. No patience for them. Ruins the momentum for me.

PoR and RD didn't have dancers, so they didn't need dancing animations. If there had been a dancer or two, I'm sure there would've been animations. :P

And Elphin didn't do crap but string his harp and barely made any movements.
Faye
I always keep battle animations on, it's boring when all you see are mini sprites/models randomly bumping into each other. As for Olivia... Her dance is pretty, but I can't stand her outfit. :/ I really don't like seeing her butt that often.
Samias
Usually the angle you see Olivia from is from the front though, even in the animation. They almost never show the models of the characters from their backs except in talking scenes, but even then there aren't many that Olivia appears in. Her confession is an exception. I love her character model in motion. The official art just doesn't capture her glamour at all. And of course, her portrait has her so bundled up and shy, so you can't see the skimpiness of the outfit anyway.
