PKL
I've been wondering for a while where the Boots in this game are. And where are M'jolnir, Forsety (and the other A rank wind spells) and Mire?
bookofholsety
Mjolnir and Forseti are available only through SpotPass distributions (which haven't happened for the US version yet) or through random selection in the DLC Holy Divine Weapons (which also hasn't been released in the US yet). No idea about the others, sorry.
Lanko
The boots is on a chest on chapter 16. I think in one of the northwestern ones.
shadowofchaos
It's the top left chest in Chapter 17. Another would be the renown bonus.
PKL
Ah. Thanks everyone. Seems like boots really arent gonna be useful in LTC then :/. There's no way I could grab the top left chest before beating the Ch17 boss...
Ritsuioko23
I never stop to get chests in this game because I consider that a waste of a turn, plus I don't like using thieves, only time I used Gaius was to raise his relationship with Cherche... So yeah..
CinderSkye
Gaius was one of my powerhouses after I got around his weaker initial durability. The thief class tree is really good in this game... and you miss some *great* items by skipping chests.

I know that but it just seemed like I never had any keys and I never used Gaius... my first playthrough was more or less a story and support playthrough. I'm playing as a female avatar now so I'll probably pay more attention to chests.
CinderSkye
Panne is a great reclass to Thief, as is Kellam. I don't understand why you would pay more attention to chests as a female avatar. Statistically speaking, it's overwhelmingly the other way 'round on average. That's kind of random. I opened like three chests in the entire game.
Shadow Stalker X
As for your question regarding Mire, that can be found from a Sorceror in the lower left corner of Chapter 21. After that, if a Merchant shows up on the Ch. 21 space, they may end up selling it there as one of the 3 bonus items.
