Fruity Insanity
So it's been nearly two weeks since its North America release. I'm wondering if Nintendo has released any sales numbers. You know, so we can see exactly how well the game sold. ;-) EDIT: This is the most I can find for now... It seems to be selling quite well... of course. :) (Not as well as in Japan, but well, nevertheless.) EDIT 2: 169,831... phew... That's a lot... For America, at least. EDIT 4: So is there any source besides those from vgchartz? I just want to see those large numbers dwarfing the sales of previous FE games. First Week Sales (25th April, 2012)Awakening has sold an impressive, estimated 242,600 copies in its first week in Japan (Source). For reference, below are the other Fire Emblem titles' lifetime sales (in Japan). Dark Dragon and Sword of Light: 329,087 Gaiden: 324,699 Mystery of the Emblem: 776,338 Genealogy of the Holy War: 498,216 Thracia 776: 145,600 (as of 1999) Sword of Seals: 345,574 (as of 2002) Blazing Sword: 265,286 (as of 2003) The Sacred Stones: 233,280 (as of 2004) Path of Radiance: 156,413 (as of 2005) Radiant Dawn: 171,924 (as of 2007) Shadow Dragon: 274,786 (as of 2009) New Mystery of the Emblem: 247,248 (as of 2010) Sources: TearRing Saga lawsuit, GEIMIN.NET ^This is from the main site. The Japanese sales will, of course, always stay higher than NA's when it comes to strategy RPG games... or maybe just Fire Emblem in particular. EDIT 3: I didn't know there was a thread on this just a while back... o_O #feels ashamed and breaks down crying EDIT 5: tl;dr Can anyone find anything reliable on the US sales? Shadow Stalker X
There isn't really any reliable source when it comes sales data like this. Only hope I can see of us finding out would be if one of the major gaming sites asked someone from Nintendo, and they decide to give us an accurate response. x14113
Would these numbers include digital copies? Because if it does, I'd be one of those scumbags with two.
