Crimson Red Posted March 6, 2013 Share Posted March 6, 2013 (edited) There's probably a byte somewhere else that also controls it, i.e. it's probably an "ability", and items with that ability are set to have "0" uses, but you can't initiate the ability by just making a weapon with "0" weapons. That's my guess, if that makes sense. EDIT: Checking to see the differences between some of the unlimited use weapons and any of them that aren't might help you determine what controls it, I'm not really sure myself/I'm going purely off the top of my head.
