Pokemon X and Y should have an AR sort of display so you can walk around with your 3DS, and look for Pokemon. Using your current location, you'd find different Pokemon depending on where you are. Go down to a park, pull out your 3DS, and go hunting. It would recognize surfaces like water, grass, or rock, so you could find different kinds.

You better keep dreaming, because this is a perfect idea that would fit with the theming of the game quite well. It's a natural extension of the original game's approach to collecting Pokemon.

Alas, twenty years from now it will still be the exact same.

That is, what the fuck is the Dream Radar?

EDIT: Oh, well, that's not exactly what I meant, I meant actual Pokemon battles out on an AR display, not some sort of nausea inducing shooter game.
