The unpaired thing is just what happens with Laurent generally because his weakness as a unit, not specifically in this case.

Join times don't matter because that is the way the character is presented. Growth rates matter because that is the heart of the gameplay-wise question.

Out of all the parent generation, I believe that Laurent is the worst of the children to get access to every class.

I don't compare disimilar things so it's more like Emmeryn's modifiers are better than Miriel modifiers. Emmeryn can give me more what I look for in Morgan and thus her higher ranking.
