(Numbered in how much I am considering it.)

1. (Most) Olivia!Lucina. I have married Lucina before. But the reasons why I want to again is because of the Blue Hair, Aether, and it rounds out of the children marriages.

2. (Next) Nowi. I have never married her. But being able to have to Manakete children would be cool. Also, green hair is cool.

3. (Last) Olivia. Never married her either. But I think Morgan and Inigo would be cute as siblings, and pink hair is very cool. (Also, Inigo's Paralouge is hair-pulling hard)

I am starting to lean towards Nowi.

I need more information. Asset? Flaw? No grind? Other restrictions?

Grind Run.

Asset: Def, Flaw: Luck.

No other restriction. This is more of a Casual Run. I plan on maxing everyone and beating Apotheosis in this file.

Lucina has the best hair, so that's where my vote goes. Yes I'm shallow.

actually I just like her in

I'd say Olivia is my second choice, also for hair, although I also just don't like Manaketes much.

Seriously for maxing everyone I'd definitely say go 2nd-gen.

Well, given all that, Nowi would be the most optimal.

Morgan and Nah's stat modifiers would be...

+1 Str, +1 Mag, 0 Skill, -1 Spd, +1 Lck, +8 Def, +5 Res.

Pretty delicious. Assuming you keep them as Manaketes, you could make their skill set something like...

Aegis, Limit Breaker, Luna, Pavise, Renewal. You could run Sol over Renewal, but note it would interfere with your Luna proc rate.

...Just my two cents. Lucina comes in second place, but I would only recommend marrying Sumia!Lucina because Olivia!Lucina would not exactly give you the best third generation modifiers you would want. I would only recommend marrying Olivia in no grind, and this is only if you are okay with dance abuse. Infinite bachelor is a no-brainer.

Or you could marry based on favoritism.

Manaketes have no Brave weapons and are rather slow. I see nothing optimal about them. The only reason to marry Nowi that I see is to fix up Nah's awful class set, and maybe for the green hair.

IMHO if you're trying to tank Apotheosis using Def you're probably doing it wrong.

And on a yes-grind Lunatic+ run Def is useful for surviving the first few chapters but those are still doable with a Spd/Mag/whatever asset and those are more optimal for post-game. And then once DLC is available everything becomes a joke anyways, so asset/flaw matters for stat caps and basically nothing else.

Also, I honestly think that the Def asset (as opposed to Spd or Mag or even Str or Skill) is a bigger problem than Olivia!Lucina vs. Sumia!Lucina.

*shrug* I'm working within his limitations. I'm not making the guy change his setups if he doesn't want to.

Brave weapons are completely unnecessary. Thanks to Dual Strikes and Luna, you'll likely be killing things dead, anyway. Using Brave weapons is simply overkill. And the Spd issue is easily ignored main game while it can remedied easily for Apotheosis through Pair-Up, Rallies, and Tonics.

Working within limitations is all well and good, but a positive Spd modifier is way more important than overkill Def, IMO. Defense can also be fixed, and a point or two of Def isn't the difference between dealing double damage and not.

And Braves don't only mean double the number of attacks, but also double the number of Dual Strikes. Not-killing something you thought you were gonna kill is not a situation you want to be in, especially in Apotheosis.

I agree +Spd/-Lck would be better in the long run. Especially so if he would go for Nowi. Since he is doing a grinding run, he could go "Frederick Emblem" for the first four Chapters and not worry about the Avatar's base stats.

Again, overkill. Even if you could not kill the enemy in a single attack sequence, you have other units to fall back on. Sure, trying to kill Apotheosis enemies in one fell swoop is great, but it isn't necessary at all. In fact, I'd saying spreading you resources thin trying to one-round everything is more risky than anything.

You're not clearing up to Ch4 Lunatic+ with just Frederick, just so you're aware. This isn't vanilla Lunatic.

I must have mad skills, then. I beat the up to Chapter 4 with just Frederick with Chrom paired up. Lissa was also around for healing. It honestly wasn't much of a hassle aside from the fact it took me about a day (with relatively little free time) per chapter.

How many counter and luna+ mooks did you face in Chapter 3?

Because I'd honestly like to know how many Silver Lance usages you had to kill the lower mooks fast enough for Kellam and Sumia to survive.

Chapter 3 was definitely the black sheep. The entire bottom could not have Pavise+ or Counter, the top could not have Counter units next to each other, Luna+ had to be virtually non-existent, and the Hammer guy could not have Hawkeye. But since I knew exactly what to look for, resetting took little time at all. Edited by Cor Leonis

I'm actually stuck on Chapter 3 right now. :/

That thing is the embodiment of hell.

I can't even clear out the bottom row.

(I have Avatar lvl.8, and Freddy Lvl.2)

EDIT: Actually I have been using SoC's guide on Youtube. Honestly, I want a Strength Asset, but Lunatic+ is way too hard for me for that.

Just noticed you added more. See my previous post about skills.

Thanks to Transfer and Trade, I had Kellam out of the fray, gave Frederick the Javalin, and watched the enemies suicide. Having the extra Range was certainly more benefical than the Might of the Silver Lance. And the Convoy gave me access to all those weapons no one else was using, so Frederick having weapons was not even a problem. Sumia was not even an issue since she could move to a non-dangerous space. It fact, she flew Lissa around for me.

And welcome to Chapter 3, Dying Blaze. Conquer it and you shall enter Paradise (read: the Wireless menu).
