Florete
Do your characters in this game have to be at level 20 promoted to transfer stats? Or do they just need a few stats maxed, regardless of level?
Allan's Aokage
They must be level 20 to pass on stats, yes. Which is why I need for Soren to max out ASAP. Three caps. ^^
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
I take it that most of you should know about the transfer glitch in Radiant Dawn by now.
SwordsAreShiney
Easy mode saves cause Radiant Dawn to emocide. But the bug is supposed to be fixed now, so if you send your old copy to Nintendo you can get a new one, or, if you're just buying it, I'd imagine that the new ones are fixed as well. Wolt
Its not that big of a deal is it? I mean, its not hard to get a select few to lvl 20. Weapon level transfer anyways regardless of lvl, so its really the only thing that matters with the broken-ness that is BEXP.
lcronovt
Just checking XD, the new copy of RD, when you transfer from PoR takes easy as normal, normal as hard and hard as maniac?
SwordsAreShiney
If there's an easy mode save, it would just lock up and make a buzzing noise.
Wolt
Theres no real difference in what difficulty you choose versus what the save file was on, its just that the game thinks there is no easy mode and it crashes trying to figure out something it doesn't think is there. Meteor
Weapon level transfer anyways regardless of lvl That's... insane.

Meteor
Because you could BEXP someone you never used to 20/20+ and they'd already have high weapon levels like you'd been using them all along.

Meteor
Exactly, but he said that weapon levels pass through the data transfer.
Allan's Aokage
Exactly, but he said that weapon levels pass through the data transfer. Not exactly. I believe it's 60 WEXP per leel from C to S. The Serenes Forest main site has an article about it.
VincentASM
I think they meant the transfer bonus, and not that the actual weapon level is transferred ^^
Meteor
Oh, well maybe it's not as amazing as I thought. *looks it up*
Wolt
Yes, I should have been more specific. Weapon levels transfer a specific amount of WEXP depending on what level they were at in the prior game.
CGV
I'm psyched that Sothe's stats transfer directly. He'll be more powerful in the beginning than my first runthrough
Florete
I'm psyched that Sothe's stats transfer directly. He'll be more powerful in the beginning than my first runthrough Unless you seriously control his levelups(like I am) he won't really gain much. Aurion_Emblem
yeah, 2's in most stats, 5 or so in res, and luck/HP are however much you got, but really, there's not much to gain
Meteor
I don't plan to transfer once I finish. I'd rather pick up the game and see where it leads. :)
CGV
just finished my PoR runthrough to transfer over to RD and boy was it a pain to cap a few stats with some people. it really takes a lot of patience to get some of the stats maxed for a few people
kaonohiokala
Ugh, Brom is the one FE10 char. that needs weapon exp., but getting that on him is hard cuz the only one you can increase is sword (which starts at E after promotion). Junk Brom is awesome in FE10.
