Gregosa
i loved that show Thanks. Since your country of origin isn't listed I'm curious to know your nationality. I was actually surprised there is also an Australian and British edition.
Tao
I've played X only since my main DS is elsewhere, but I'm probably still gonna be naming any Pokemon after my friends (on SF). Or if I really run out, I'll use some people I'm fond of (Randy) in my vicinity. My sig already has my tea's nickname anyway. I'm super unoriginal like that. My protagonists are always named after their Japanese default/official names.
Robinigo
I just hatched a drilbur, the first thing that came to mind was Wallace for some reason Welcome to the damn team Wallace, take a seat between Cuddles the houndoom and Snaaake the forretress
Captain Wesker
In ORAS I'm going to name the Pokemon I'm using after Video Game Characters. I already have most planned out. I also named a Ditto Hard Worker (2.0 because my sister's Ditto took the name first)

Shinehollow
I also named a Ditto Hard Worker (2.0 because my sister's Ditto took the name first) You could've used something else. You didn't have to take MY idea. Snivy-Mr. Snake You have just inspired me to name a Snivy "Soild Snake".Thank you. I named my Cydiquill on SS "Iblis". He going to be very Iblis-y when he gets Eruption all right. Should've named it after a volcano.

NICKT™
Alright, better go whip out my Pokemon Y... ...It's been a while since I've named them, so I'm not completely sure on the meanings anymore Pangoro - Belluator. (Bellua means beast, apparently, not sure what the other word I used here is.) Chesnaught - Baumritter. (German for Tree Knight, I believe.) Blastoise - Testudo. (Latin for Tortoise, also a commonly known Roman War formation.) Aegislash - Spatha. (A type of sword.) Garchomp - Nidhogg. (A creature in Norse mythos.) Crawdaunt - Karkinos. (A giant crab in Greek mythos.) Clawitzer - Jadgpanzer. (German for "hunting tank". Was originally going to call him Panzerfaust, but changed my mind for some reason.) Manectric - Blitzstrahl. (German for Thunderbolt, according to google.) There were plenty other nicknames, but I found these to be amongst the best and my favorites.
