Florete
Is there any real point to it? Does it actually change anything?
Rehab
Sure does. Makes him weaker statwise if you want more of a challenge, and I think Celice the member said it can break the game's brain somehow if you do it at a specific point or some such. In seriousness, no. Celice
Why dismount me :( I think in Chapter 8, if you dismount, there's a chance for Celice to be teleported to 0, 0 on the axis. So in other words, he gets locked to the top-left area, where you either can't get to him or can't move him out of the terrain. It might be a bug in any chapter--I don't quite remember it as well as the Defense Sword or the town music glitches, likely 'cause I never did it ._. Not Changed by VASM :(
Why the fuck would you want to?
Rehab
You wouldn't. That's the point.
Ercdouken
I don't see any point of dismounting Celice. Why did they even give him the dismount option?
Celice
Because he has a cooler critical animation :( And that's it
Eaichu
The game bugging up when you dismount Celice is a reminder that you should never do it... Anyway IIRC it helps you move past certain terrain faster. It's not really helpful.
Dr. Tarrasque
The game bugging up when you dismount Celice is a reminder that you should never do it...Anyway IIRC it helps you move past certain terrain faster. It's not really helpful. That sums it up. There's also this glitch with Celice (not sure but it probably is related to dismount) where he's unable to move unless you have a dancer. As for the other mentioned glitch, I always fix it by loading the save on ZSNES, it always got rid of the glitch and set things straight. After that I just used my main emulator (SNES9x) and the glitch was fixed.
Steven Tyler
The only useful thing I see about dismounting Celice is avoiding Knight Slayers. However, since there's no one that uses one in the 2nd generation, it doesn't make since to dismount him.
Metal Rabbit
I sometimes dismount him and have him wander on his own for fun. My Celice has damn near uber stats to begin with.
