RisinDevil
I was wondering what the best class or just good classes in general for a Morgan who is the child of Yarne and an +Skill/-HP MU? Also on a lesser note the skills: LB, Galeforce, Vantage, Weaponfaire. Was thinking a Bow Knight or a Hero. metalsnowman3
Paladin is very well rounded and the beast weakness that you get from yarne doesn't matter, warrior might not be bad since you have 52 str, skill, 47 spd. Assassin and sniper give you 58 skill and with lb you could run leth/astra and luna with a pretty high activation rate.
MelonGx
Try to make a pair having 100% Dual Strike with your Skl+10 L!Y!M and without Lucina. For example, LYM @ Assassin: Skl 48+10(Mods)+10(LB)+10(Rallies)+2(Tonic)=80 Stahl!Severa @ Assassin: Skl 48+4+10+10+2=74 When they get paired up, the front side will have Assassin's Skl+7 bonus. The DS rate/%: (80+74+7)/4+60(Rank S)=161/4+60=100 Edited February 6, 2014 by MelonGx
Tribute
Does having panne/yarne as a parent actuly give you a beast weakness in every class?
Roivann
Assassin and Swordmaster have high speed caps. With LB and the +11 SPD modifier, Morgan's speed caps out at 67. Swordmasters in Awakening are kind of bad, so sticking with assassin should maximize Morgan's speed.
RisinDevil
Does having panne/yarne as a parent actuly give you a beast weakness in every class? Yeah, it makes you a Taugel . It's like how all Manaketes have a dragon weakness in every class.

Beast weakness wouldn't matter so much like that He needs conquest. Ephraim/Panne forever
RisinDevil
What would be a good pair up class to put with this, seems like the votes are currently pushing towards, paladin?
Jiac
Assassin, his mods definitely say Assassin...
Czar_Yoshi
Never Bow Knight. They generally suck in this game. Unless you happen to need a mounted Bow class (mostly early on before their low caps kick in) that promotes from a good earlygame class... But yes, lategame they are indeed quite useless. But yes, lategame they are indeed quite useless. Truth. They're probably fine sub Lunatic, but most things are. Sad that Bride is possibly the best out of the box viable 'Archer' class. Unless you're Jamke. If you're okay with SpotPass characters, Jamke's innate Galeforce and relatively low level makes him pretty amazing. In fact, if Archers could get Galeforce they'd work so much better in Awakening's giant open field maps...
CoolCoolCool
Bow knight isn't that bad, I permanently leave my Chrom as one.
Roivann
Bow knight has the lowest total stat caps in the game. That, and bows+swords aren't that useful. Dark Knight with swords+wind magic does exactly the same thing, but better.

And Cordelia has a decently quick path to Galeforce + Bows, if you want it for maingame on a non-Avatar Gen1 unit. BK Chrom is actually kind of useful because it's Chrom's only class that both has 8 Mov and gives +Mov. Additionally, he can benefit from Bows+Swords lategame more than other units can thanks to Falchion. DK has a less powerful ranged Brave and can't avoid EP Counter. It's still (usually) better, but you can't really declare one promoted class to be outright superior to another in every way.
