buttmuncher.ops Posted March 28, 2014 Share Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) i was rampaging through the detention center when i realized i was in the middle of a gaiden chapter and there was no fog of war, making silencing / sleeping warp stave users too easy is there something wrong with my rom / patch, or is 21x supposed to be the only gaiden chapter without FoW? Icon of Sin Posted March 28, 2014 Share Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Except you might only have one prisoner while all your starting units cover the exit. In this game most "FoW" maps seem actually just be night combat, hence why it's pitch black. 4x and 24x are just really dark basements or something. Chapter 12 is especially mentionned to be a night map, 12x being a followup in the same evening, and if you fail the turncount to meet the gaiden requirement, I believe the sun rises and clears the darkness, similar to what happens in FE6 Chapter 14 with the sandstorm.
