blyegg Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) This is pretty simple and a complete rip off of Mug Medley.After discussing it for like 1 minute in chat, I decided to make it a thread.Basically, we take a vanilla FE6/7/8 map... and we expand on it.[spoiler=Rules and Shit]By expand I mean... Widen or heighten the map. Add features to existing place in the map. Redesign areas of the map. Rules: You must make at least one edits. Do not add to or change the tileset unless I approve it or it is a reverse tile (i.e. reversed stairs for whatever reason). If you expand the map, you must fill it in. No black spots (unless beyond walls or it actually makes sense). At the end of the 8th edit, I will introduce a new map. After every edit, name what edit # it was and provide a direct link to the .fmp. Sorry, Tiled users, but we'll be using Tiled, since I prefer it the Map Converter only exists for Mappy, AFAICT. If one for Tiled does exist, I'll fall back on my first reason. :P The original map is edit 0, the last one is the 8th. Has anyone ever tried putting together the maps of the chapter 21 of FE6 and Cog of Destiny? I'm not sure if there's an easy converter between tiled and mappy, the most popular map making programs in the Fire Emblem communities. I'll ask him so I can put up a notice for converting the map to and from either or {Mappy or Tiled}.
