StinDuh
Has it been noted that Blazing Sword is headed to Virtual Console in Japan tomorrow? And the potential for it to be released over seas on VC as well? http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/software/vc/index.html Without reading the Japanese, you can see that it says "2014.5.14" which is tomorrow. Actually... today in Japan real-time.... Edit: It is not listed on the General Release Dates Page http://serenesforest.net/general/release.html#fe4 Edited May 13, 2014 by StinDuh
Rambo M
And Sacred Stones will be out over there August 6th: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/software/vc/pbbj/index.html Yet the only game not on the VC over there is FE6. Strange.

Strange. Especially since FE6 was the most popular/best selling of the trio. Maybe since FE7 and FE8 are international they get priority. VincentASM
Hmm, if so, that would be interesting from a global perspective. Like, maybe we'll get FE7 and FE8 too eventually? ^^
Jave
Maybe they're planning an FE6 remake? That would be nice in more ways than one.
Chloe Neo
Are they really going to make a remake of fe7

bookofholsety
considering both fe1 and fe3 went up on the wii virtual console despite fe11 and 12 happening (bearing in mind fe1 actually came out there AFTER fe11), or for that matter the bounty of both originals and their respective remakes already on vc, i highly doubt a remake being on the table would affect any decisions on vc availability (that said, dear god no enough with the fucking remakes already nintendo needs to dial down that habit) Edited August 2, 2014 by bookofholsety

Alertcircuit
I wonder why there's a delay in these releases when going internationally? Do they need to playtest the translated rom too? I hope by the time I get my Wii U near Christmas I'll be able to purchase Fire Emblem GBA games and support the developers at the same time. Also Metroid Zero Mission would be nice. Book of Ereshkigal
There might be some testing involved, but I really have no idea what Nintendo is thinking when it comes to some aspects of their VC release schedule...
