These Special rules have various altered rulesets that can only be done at the duration listed Season 5 runs from July 15th 2014 and is a Single Battle ruleset. In this, you can use all six Pokémon of your team with no hold items, akin to the rules that existed when Pokémon Red & Green were revealed Season 6 runs from mid-September and runs a special ruleset. This season is a Double Battle season with the standard rules, but with a twist. In it, it will block the Top 12 Pokémon that were used in the Double Battle option in Seasons 1 to 4 and the first half of Season 5. So, as we know, the silly Inverse battles are season 4, but the next two seasons after that look super interesting. 6 Pokemon. No Items. And Double Battles - top 12 Pokemon.
