Can't go to NY comiccon, any alternatives?

I just learned that i cant go to New york comic con this year. does anyone know of any good alternatives in that general area? ( a sunday over the summer would be best.) I checked the obvious places, but i really don't mind if they are obscure, or something tangentially related, like a coin show. I also don;t mind traveling a few hours.

There is Otakon in two weeks at Baltimore, but there's a 35K registration limit enforced, and I have no idea whether or not that limit has been reached.

THanks for letting me know, but i should have clarified any weekend in the summer except that one. (have to attend a wedding.) also, Baltimore is around 4 hours away, which is a little farther than i would prefer to go. (anywhere between philidelphia and new haven seems reasonable, plus maybe atlantic city.)
