Despite trying to hide the fact they had such a number plate (H982 FLK), the Top gear crew basically broke laws (driving in the UK or abroad under a plate other than the one assigned to the vehicle) so they wouldn't try to offend anyone with the license plate and put themselves at risk. But of course, word got around that the plate existed, and the TG crew found themselves being literally chased out of the fucking country in a life-threatening manner by a mob of hundreds of 20-something years old Falklands veterans.
