In other news I've successfully completed a stage in IN...

... In practice mode. And even then it was terribu bad

You can auto-collect by focusing when you're above a certain height on the screen in IN.

In other news, I just cleared Vajra without bombing... but I died twice. Please don't ask why I didn't bomb.

The music is probably the best thing about Touhou, honestly. It's just as good, if not better than the sound tracks of some of the high profile games these days (although that might be an overstatement).

I need to get back to TD...

LLS is the easiest Touhou game. It has the easiest bullet patterns (even easier than EoSD and TD) and it also provides you with plenty of resources (which EoSD and TD are quite stingy with). So yes, LLS is, indeed, incredibly easy on Normal.

Except for Master Spark, that's still a very tough spell.
