So yeah, DDC.

I'm noticing the bosses are a lot more balanced in difficulty than PCB.

Primsrivers and stage 4 as a whole felt infinitely harder than Stage 3 and alice.

However, I'm not finding that big of a jump between the first 3 stages and the last ones.

Also, I'm having a much harder time racking up lives than I did in IN and PCB in this one for some reason.

Oh, and can you change the amount of lives you start out with?

DDC's difficulty curve is basically: stages 1 and 2 = easy; stages 3 - 6 = hard.

Of course, there's lots of variation within that, especially depending on the difficulty mode you're playing on.

As for lives, they aren't spat out at you at fixed points or scores like with IN and PCB. Instead, every 5 autocollect bonuses is a heart piece, as well as every 2.0 bonus you get is a heart piece. There's quite a few points in the stages where you can guarantee yourself a 2.0 every time but that mainly comes with practising the stages and learning what works/what doesn't.

idk i might put sekibanki in the hard part tbh

on normal at least she felt p tough for stage 2 at parts

and yeah i don't think the resources in ddc are that great compared to IN or PCB because kinda like UFO you gotta work for those
