SA isn't even evil Normal+. Sure, it has the hardest Normal mode, but the game is just memo and streaming. Hardly evil.

You certainly can bombspam your way through MoF, but that's a ridiculous thing to do and people should be ashamed of themselves if they do it.

rayforce, ZUN actually took some inspiration from this game with the curvy lasers. He used to be a programmer for taito and taito developed rayforce actually.

EoSD's soundtrack is okay. Not one of the best, but not one of the worst.

It's catchy, and some songs are definitely great, but it's not one of the best.

I hate the instruments and only like two songs in it (Centennial Festival for Magical Girls and UN Owen Was Her?)

kanako can possibly still give some trouble but it's one of the easiest

TD is one of the worst for me due to its mechanics but most people seem to not have much trouble with it

i had an easy time with sa but that was only after having 1cc'd most other games and being fairly accustomed to other games on easy

i'd personally leave ufo for last, harder patterns + annoying ufo gimmick make it the hardest one

either way this shit is actually really subjective as you can see from your discussion with relick about pcb vs ddc so try the games and go for what you're feeling comfortable with

TD is boring so i wouldn't recommend that.

SA is good. Dumb scoring outside of lunatic but still good.

If you are looking to play other shmups then i would recommend EOSD since it tends to have more arcade like patterns.

It's also the best game in the series.

Yeah I agree with all this.

TD has simple patterns, but it's really stingy and unforgiving of dumb mistakes.

UFO gimmick is literally the worst thing in Touhou

Kanako's last two spells on Easy are ridiculous, especially the last one, because at least you can bombskip Otensui.
