Alright, I beat the elite four.

After the credits, the game sends me to the title screen, and...

I can't load any saves. I had used save states the entire game.

Whenever I try to save in-game, it just says, "please exchange backup data, save error" or something.

So, I'd have to delete my current file to get it to save, I'm being led to believe.

Help?

You are using VBA, right? Go to Options -> Emulator -> Save Type and make sure Flash 128K is selected. And then try to save. If your .sav file is 128 KB, then it should be fine. If not, then you'll have to generate a 128 KB save file to get it to work.

And yeah, this is an issue with all Pokemon games AFAIK, or at least Emerald and FireRed i.e. the two games that most GBA Touhoumon hacks are based on.

sorry to hear that and stuff, but you should've just taken me and Annie's advice and not played one of the hardest games for Touhoumon

play something easier, like PPE or Purple

try to only go for, like, death bombs man, or when you know you're going to get hit.

Maybe look at a replay, and then practice the stage you have the most trouble on.

Marisa is really forward focus iirc, and she doesn't have many bombs, but she has so much fucking damage so i guess that works out?

ReimuA is shit. Don't use ReimuA.

ReimuB is great. Why wouldn't you use her?

MarisaA is VERY strong. But her bombs are weak and she only has two of them. My personal favorite shot, but she isn't recommended for beginners.

MarisaB is just a tad weaker than MarisaA (and her unfocused shot is godawful), but she has Non-Directional Laser and the Master Spark, the two more powerful bombs in the game. I'd recommend her.

SakuyaA is just a better ReimuA with one more bomb. Practical for use.

SakuyaB requires some skill to use. She has four bombs per life, but none of the bombs do damage. At least her forward focus with all her knives lined up is quite strong.

I personally find Reimu very awkward to use in PCB, for some reason.
