I think you mean it's balanced horribly. Because this is pretty confusing to me now.

This is Easy Mode Pointdevice with Reisen. You aren't allowed to die in Pointdevice, rather, you start the segment over if you do, and its called a retry

the stages are divided in chapters, you go back to the beginning of the chapter you were at

Yeah, its why I don't continue in those games. It has a habit of giving you less chance than the first time, since you always get two lives and the first time you usually have more.

[spoiler=lolk] hecatia is the greek goddess hecate, goddess of witchcraft magic and all that stuff

she is typically represented as 3 women at once (hecatia's power is to have 3 bodies)

lampads are torch holding (see clownpiece) nymphs that follow hecate around

I actually don't know about the first three bosses, haven't been following the demo. Haven't played it either.

Clownpiece, though. Not just her name, I'm pleased with her design too. Hecticia and Kishin look cool too. Wow I want to play this so hard, just to say, "Stop clowning around!" when I fight Clownpiece.

I may want to name one of my children Clownpiece now, good lord. Best name in Touhou.
