I really like Hisoutensoku since it's a better SWR and I LOOOOVE the music:

And yeah, Sanae all day every day.

Yeah Hisoutensoku is the one I play now, I was liking Marisa since her moves seem pretty easy to get a feel for. Sanae confused me with those two other people she uses. And yeah Meiling is cool too.

Kanako Yasaka and Suwako Moriya. I like that Sanae has them attack with her in a couple of her attacks, it really suits her.

Should I get UFO for my next game? I was thinking about just getting EoSD since that is the first modern one.

EoSD is a decent choice if you want to get used to the Windows era characters that will continue to show up in later games. It's also very simple mechanics-wise and as such easy to get into, and the spellcards aren't too tough for the most part, either.

Really, the only reason EoSD is somewhat difficult is that you get very little resources (6 extra lives and 3 extra bombs, that's it) compared to most of the other games in the series.
