Radiant head Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 This is a really small question I have, and not sure it warrants its own thread, but since this forum frowns on necroposting, I'll ask here. So I'm planning to do a second playthrough of both PoR and RD. PoR I found to be really easy, so I'm def doing Hard Mode this time around. But RD I'd rather just stick with NM, because I find parts of this game to be frustrating enough on NM. If I play PoR on HM and data transfer, can I still play RD on Normal, or will it make me do HM? The only weird thing is if you made a PoR transfers file on PoR easy, I've heard there's a glitch where RD won't load that but since you're loading PoR on HM, that shouldn't be a problem. Ownagepuffs Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I'd probably recommend FE9 NM for data transfers since you get a lot more BEXP and you ge BEXP for clearing chapters unlike HM so it's easy to raise characters to level 20. That's only on the early copies of RD, like I have. Early copies didn't take into account the NA-only Easy mode files so it crashed. As long as it's a later version or he did send in his early copy for the repair back then, Easy mode files shouldn't crash on him. I would agree with Ownagepuffs. More characters at level 20 is plus.
