To a certain extent, I’ll only object when A.) it’s a lolli, or B.) when it disrupts the tone/themes. For example, the fan service-y S support CGs don’t bother me because all the conflict is over and has come to a close (or will, glares in CF TWSITD) and this is just a cute little moment with the character of your choosing, so it’s fine in my eyes. Compare this to say, Camilla, who’s unrealistic and over the top outfit in a game where you are designed to play as her sibling contrasts the whole “you’re my family!” theme imo.
