Lance-a-lot
So I made a custom class for matthew and assigned it to him instead of thief but whenever I restart a chapter he goes back to his thief class, any help with why? If I dont restart he'll keep the custom one.
Blademaster!
I'm guessing the custom class uses an index over 0x7F? In that case apply icecube's class expansion patch. If it's not on SF, it's on FEU. Edited March 14, 2015 by Blademaster!
Lance-a-lot
Actually wait no its entry 0x74 and its the highest entry I have, I dont have any at or beyond 0x7F Edited March 14, 2015 by Lance-a-lot
CT075
if you set the custom class's "class number" or whatever to thief it'll jump back to thief on reset
Lance-a-lot
Ahhh gotcha, I thought class number only related to the map sprite. How then would I make a custom class number though? Blademaster!
Your class number should always match the entry in the class array it's in. They only go up to 0xFF, so you don't make a custom one since you're given all of them from the get go.
