Which playable character do you choose?

I tend to choose the ladies 'cause I like them better(plus Bartre was already playable in FE7 anyway), Juno to complete the Pegasus trio, Geit because Wallace was already playable in Lyn's route and he requires the lords to be underleveled, and Karel 'cause I like him better(though I chose Harken on Eliwood's route for variety's sake. I mainly play Hector Mode though).

Lalum because Elphin really works better as the fortune teller. And I prefer Enchidna as well

Yuno because Pegs~

Gietz because I'm prone to lord spam

Karel because I get through that chapter rather fast

In FE6 I haven't played the "Elphin-route" yet, but I've heared Lalum > Elphin.

I would go for Ilia, not because of Yuno, but just because the maps are easier. In Sacae the Nomad Troopers are pretty fast and double some of your units.

Another argument for Yuno: Peggies can do the triangle attack unlike the Nomad Troopers (Sue, Shin, Dayan).

In general I don't use any prepromoted units except for Marcus in earlygame and Percival, because the growths of them except for Karel are garbage.

It usually differs, but my choices are based on my latest runs of FE6 and FE7.

1. Women's

2. Dayan

3. Wallace

4. Karel

I'll choose Geitz over Wallace, but I'll take almost any unit over Lyn and Eliwood, so the game chooses Wallace for me. :(
