He himself is probably pure human, but that's up to debate. Ninian IS half dragon though, and Eliwood is human. Although if Ninian married Eliwood, Roy would be a quarter dragon. Now, because she is a full dragon, so both of her parents must be dragon too. If Nergal is Ninian's father, so he have to be a dragon. Now, if Nergal is a dragon, the bad guy that kipnap his wife must be human( maybe Athos and his band?). The war between Dragon and human Nergal's wife being kipnaped. Nergal let Ninian and Nils behind and he go to save his wife. His wife being kill. He was being hurt and lost his memory The Dragon open a portal and go to another dimenson. His child go with them while Nergal being left behind. He wandered around and met Athos.
