21_21
If the data transfer glitch occurs, does it permanently crash the wii or you can just reset the game as if it never happened? Also, sorry if this kinda sounds dumb, but, since I've heard that the newer copies don't have the glitch, so can you tell if you got the newer copy or not? (I got FE RD a little over two months ago, if that helps in any way.) Thanks in advance. Edited September 20, 2008 by 21_21
Florete
By the sound of it, your disc should definitely be a newer one unless you got a used copy. I haven't seen it, but I believe you can just shut it off and continue.
noremaC
you probally got the new ones, but even if you didn't it doesnt mess anything up, you may just have to unplug it and plug it back in, it wont hurt your wii or game
21_21
Thanks for the responses. I just have one final question: Since I'm thinking about data transferring on my next playthrough, do I have to transfer data to the new file I'm gonna play in before I start a new playthrough on that file or can I be able to transfer it even after playing in that file? It has to be right from the start, as you are creating the save file.
Mufasa
I think you would need to start a whole new file. And as for the crashing thing, I was a personal victum of it and it's fine after re-booting the wii.
