ChibiToastExplosion Posted June 1, 2015 Share Posted June 1, 2015 I wonder what the massive damage upon critical means for the Killing Edge? 4x damage instead of 3x would seem a bit crazy even with 6 might. Though considering they've been adjusting other mechanics perhaps they've changed it and killers deal 3x on critical and everything else is 2x damage(which may make sense considering the previous famitsu scans make it look like 2 points of luck is only worth 1 critical evade). This. The biggest problem is that we are assuming the battle mechanics and all stats are calculated the exact same as Awakening. I feel a lot of people really hated SD because it went back to how stats worked in old MotE even though it changed the classes/caps. If all characters have low caps and dodge/luck work a bit differently, -2 penalties and things like -20 avoid may mean a lot more than we give it credit for. See, 神 is kami (god) and 雷 is kaminari (thunder), so you can write them together and pronounce it kaminari (divine thunder), because it's funny.
