Espinosa
I think this FE has the most characters with sizeable scars that we've ever seen in the series. Kaze, Yuugiri, Benoit, Gunther... And that's not counting units with small scars on their faces or elsewhere on their bodies in the concept art. Wonder if they were running out of ideas... NinjaMonkey
Maybe it's just the "in thing" for videogame characters to have at the moment.
Espinosa
Maybe somebody who's better in touch with the otaku culture could answer that question.
Sentacotus
Could be although for a series thats all about medieval combat and magic spells that sear fleash I guess its to be expected.
Iron Griffin
I would be more surprised if all of the characters didn't have any scars.

Wait, Kaze has a scar? *goes to check* Don't forget that you can add scars to Kamui's face. I rather like it. They ARE fighting, after all, and targetting the face it a pretty good tactic for a distraction.

Lawful Angry
Well, medieval times... War themed game... I think scars are actually supposed to be more commonplace than not. I'm more surprised that a character like Charlotte (that fights with little to no armor, and is good at bare fist fighting) has no scars at all. In my opinion, more scarred characters are a positive aspect, and IntSys should not be afraid of marring them a bit with such things, specially more melee oriented characters. Edit: Though they don't need to outright disfigure them, of course. Edited July 1, 2015 by Lawful Angry

MostAncientOnes
Scars of Mirremblem? But all the valuable cards from the first run of that block already got reprinted. Mox Opemblem went from like $70 to $40 when Modern Masters II was printed. How much value do they plan on draining from this card?

X-Naut
Why is FE4 not Helium Bangs Emblem? Similarly, DS Games could be Gritty Realistic Emblem.
