Everything begins to change when the agency signs a new singer named Tsubasa. Manager wants her to record a duet with the nouveau venue in order to to to raise the latter's popularity. Personality wise the two don't get along well, Kiria is annoyed with Tsubasa's overly cheerful attitude, but she was professional enough not to complain. That until she notices something amiss. Her new single sells very well in the western region but she wasn't invited to West Music Festival (WMF). So she contacts the festival's event organizer to know the reason. She was furious when she finds out that her manager has given the job to another singer. Kiria confronted her manager and get an apology. Her manager explains that she wants her new singer to gain fame quickly. Kiria is considering a change of agent when she hears the news that a civil war has just broken out in neighboring country. The threat was so great that the army decides to deploy soldiers to stop the conflict. Without a hesitation she joins the army. When Kiria delivers her resignation letter, the manager went berserk.
