Hardest chapter of each game on the SNES?

Forgot to mention the best unit Asvel for some reason.

I just realized that the best strategy seems to be to wait till the mages are eliminated, before I'm going to open the door.

Asvel can deal with them, although he's not invisible and can take some damage.

If Eyvel can kill one of the second tier units in the coliseum, I should be fine.

I open the door, Asvel, Leaf and Nanna can take out the other one and Galzus won't be a problem.

Evel can take care of all enemies untill a certain cut-scene, although you want to take away the fire sword before that cutscene or you lose it. You can't dally TOO long, because the game spawns an OP enemy after quite a few turns as a soft time limit.

Even if Galzus spawns, he still can't kill Eyvel; nothing can. And he despawns when the door is opened anyway. The only risk is that that Eyvel will counterattack and kill him.

FE4 Ch.7: It's not hard, it's just so sloooooooow.

FE5: Many maps qualify, but I agree on 4, 4x, 5 and 24x for reason mentioned. I'll add Ch.22 without Warp because Saias is just ridiculous.

It's probably more likely that Galzus captures Eyval before she kills him.

Wait, that can happen?

Evyal can get captured at any point (I got her captured in Ch. 2x once). That being said, I dunno if Galzus actually attempts to do so or not.

Definitely agree on CH. 7 of FE4. Most dreaded part of every playthrough.

In FE4, chapter 10 is probably the hardest objectively, but I honestly find 7 more irritating due to its length. Chapter 2 can also be kind of a pain if you're trying to clear all the side objectives (save all the villages with Lewyn, get the Knight Ring, get the Pursuit Ring, etc.).

FE5 is a tough one. Recruiting Xavier makes 18 the most annoying by far to me, though there are several other notorious ones that deserve roasting. I always hated 8x because of Gomes, and all four Manster chapters have their irritations and foibles.

Huh, I didn't find 8x hard at all. As a matter of fact, I found it quite easy.
