astrophys
Just wondering. Some places like kantopia.wordpress.com (https://kantopia.wordpress.com/2015/06/23/fire-emblem-fates-importers-source-chapter-data-ongoing/ ) mention them, but I don't know how complete it is [whether it is thorough, whether its incomplete]. Just wondering so I know how many (and when) stat boosters of each type I can expect on each route. This also means how much I can reinforce strong points of character or how much I can shore up their weaknesses. Thanks. ADDENDUM: Compilation of Lists; these are mostly quotes from the cited users, with me adding an occasional comment with ---> followed by the comment. Glorie's Post (#4 in this topic): Hoshido: Chapter 7 - Seraph Robe - Chest Chapter 8 - Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 9 - Speed Wing - Chest Chapter 11 - Arms Scroll - Dropped Chapter 12 - Dracoshield - Chest Chapter 13 - Spirit Dust - Visit Houses Chapter 13 - Talisman - Visit Houses Chapter 15 - Speedwing - Dropped Chapter 15 - Spirit Dust - Dropped Chapter 15 - Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 16 - Arms Scroll - Chest Chapter 20 - Seraph Robe - Chest Chapter 20 - Boots - Chest Chapter 20 - Goddess Icon - Dropped Chapter 22 - Dracoshield - Dropped Chapter 23 - Talisman - Dropped Chapter 25 - Boots - Chest Nohr: Chapter 10 - Dracoshield - Visit Houses Chapter 11 - Spirit Dust - Chest Chapter 13 - Secret Book - Visit Houses ---> Tooru says that the Secret book is actually in Ch. 12 and its an Arms Scroll here. Chapter 14 - Seraph Robe - Chest Chapter 16 - Boots - Choose to kill Asura Chapter 18 - Energy Drop - Chest Chapter 23 - Goddess Icon - Dropped Chapter 23 - Boots - Chest Chapter 24 - Speedwing - Dropped Chapter 25 - Dracoshield - Dropped Chapter 26 - Seraph Robe - Chest Invisible: Chapter 10 - Arms Scroll - Dropped Chapter 10 - Energy Drop - Dropped Chapter 10 - Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 21 - Boots - Chest Chapter 21 - Arms Scroll - Chest Chapter 24 - Boots - Reward for stealth Tooru's Post #6: Shared: Chapter 4: Goddess Icon - Visit Houses Nohr: Chapter 12: Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 13: Arms Scroll - Visit Houses (not Secret Book) I also asked the fire emblem subreddit to increase the number of people frequenting the different sites who saw my question: here's what they had to say; this is compiled from several different users, with their lists provided consecutively. Nohr route: Ch8: Boss drop (Talisman) Ch10: Bottom-Right House (Dracoshield) Ch11: Left Chest (Spirit Dust) Ch12: Boss Drop (Secret Book) Ch13: Bottom-Middle House (Arms Scroll) Ch14: Top chest (Seraph Robe) Ch15: Enemy Drops (Goddess Icon, Spirit Dust), Boss Drop (Speedwing) Ch16: Don't recruit Asyura (Boots) Ch17: NPC survives the map (Speedwing) Ch18: Top left(?) chest (Energy Drop) Ch19: Enemy Drop (Talisman) Ch20: Boss Drop (Secret Book) Ch21: Boss Drop (Arms Scroll) Ch22: Mini-boss Drop (Spirit Dust) Ch23: Boss Drop (Godess Icon) Ch24: Boss Drop (Speedwing) Ch25: Boss Drop (Energy Drop?) Ch26: Middle-Right Chest (Seraph Robe) I probably made a mistake somewhere or forgot something so feel free to add something. Chapter 4: Goddess Icon - Visit Houses Nohr: Chapter 12: Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 13: Arms Scroll - Visit Houses (not Secret Book) HOSHIDO I know that the very first stat boosters you get in Hosh is a Seraph in C7 and a Speedwings in C9. The C11 boss drops an Arms scroll. I know there is another couple of statboosters in C13. Past that I don't know :( As far as I know you get a Speedwing for keeping Saizou alive in Nohr Chapter 17. Invisible Kingdom route: Ch. 10: Energy Drop + Secret Book (enemy drops, you gotta explore the map to find all the goodies) Ch. 21: Boots (top left treasure chest) Ch. 24: Boots (avoid the guards) Hoshido route: Ch. 7: Angelic Robe (right-most treasure chest) Ch. 9: Speedwing (left-most treasure chest) Ch. 12: Dracoshield (treasure chest, good luck getting it though) Ch. 13: Spirit Dust + Talisman (2nd and 4th houses from the left) Ch. 15: Speedwing + Spirit Dust + Secret Book (enemy drops) Ch. 16: Goddess Statue (Second of the two chests closest to starting point) Ch. 20: Angelic Robe + Boots + Goddess Statue (chests + enemy drop for the statue I think?) Ch. 22: Dracoshield (enemy drop) Ch. 23: Talisman (enemy drop) Ch. 25: Boots (1st chest on the right side) Source is here If I missed anything, feel free to add it in. Also, I think you can get some extra stat boosters in the Link Box if you have multiple routes downloaded on the same copy of the game. ~Silver
So... There's only a limited amount of Stat Boosters in each playthrough? I'm aware you can't buy them from Steetpass teams, but there's no other way than via story?
astrophys
I don't know… In any event, I'm guessing that outside of Streetpass that MAYBE random battles (grinding) could do that, but I'd also want to know the naturally available numbers in no-grind. Glorie
You can grind for stat boosters in the Hoshido route, though you cannot in the Nohr route. I've gotten most of my stat boosts that way, actually. You can also get some through various DLC. The Battle for the Strongest Royal will grant some at least the first time through, and buying the 2 other paths as DLC will grant 2 Boots and 2 Divine Dragon Herbs. Also, I hear recruiting Anna will give you another pair of Boots. I'll try an put together a list for you, but that will take some time. If I succeed, I would ask you post it in the first post for all to read, rather than forcing others to dig through the responses, :) [spoiler=Current List] Shared: Chapter 4 - Goddess Icon - Visit Houses Hoshido: Chapter 7 - Seraph Robe - Chest Chapter 8 - Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 9 - Speed Wing - Chest Chapter 11 - Arms Scroll - Dropped Chapter 12 - Dracoshield - Chest Chapter 13 - Spirit Dust - Visit Houses Chapter 13 - Talisman - Visit Houses Chapter 15 - Speedwing - Dropped Chapter 15 - Spirit Dust - Dropped Chapter 15 - Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 16 - Arms Scroll - Chest Chapter 20 - Seraph Robe - Chest Chapter 20 - Boots - Chest Chapter 20 - Goddess Icon - Dropped Chapter 22 - Dracoshield - Dropped Chapter 23 - Talisman - Dropped Chapter 25 - Boots - Chest Nohr: Chapter 10 - Dracoshield - Visit Houses Chapter 11 - Spirit Dust - Chest Chapter 12 - Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 13 - Arms Scroll - Visit Houses Chapter 14 - Seraph Robe - Chest Chapter 16 - Boots - Choose to kill Asura Chapter 18 - Energy Drop - Chest Chapter 23 - Goddess Icon - Dropped Chapter 23 - Boots - Chest Chapter 24 - Speedwing - Dropped Chapter 25 - Dracoshield - Dropped Chapter 26 - Seraph Robe - Chest Invisible: Chapter 10 - Arms Scroll - Dropped Chapter 10 - Energy Drop - Dropped Chapter 10 - Secret Book - Dropped Chapter 21 - Boots - Chest Chapter 21 - Arms Scroll - Chest Chapter 24 - Boots - Reward for stealth [spoiler=Rewards for "Performance Bonus"] Listed as 実績ボーナス Combat Records - 戦闘実績 You get these by having people fight in your castle. ??? - Lvl 100 ??? - Lvl 200 ??? - Lvl 300 ??? - Lvl 500 ??? - Lvl 750 ??? - Lvl 1000 ??? - Lvl 1500 ??? - Lvl 2000 ??? - Lvl 5000 ??? - Lvl 7000 Visit Records - 訪問実績 You get these by having others visit your castle. charlesbarkley
So... There's only a limited amount of Stat Boosters in each playthrough? I'm aware you can't buy them from Steetpass teams, but there's no other way than via story? They're unlimited in all routes (you can get them occasionally in skirmishes, from the lottery, or the Museum DLC), though they're pretty rare. Don't think you can get Boots randomly though, so it's total 6 (IIRC 2 in each route, plus 2 from ranking bonuses, plus 2 from path purchase bonuses). astrophys
Interesting…. Is the IK/3rd route really that deficient in stat boosters relative to the other routes? No Dracoshields, no Seraph robes, etc.? ADDENDUM: Actually, someone mentioned to you that you're given a certain number of stat boosters as a link bonus (like Dread Scrolls and Dark Falcon Wings). Does anyone know how many for each number of games/parts of the game (for 2, for 3). Edited September 25, 2015 by astrophys

There are no others that I'm aware of available through this method. You get one of each for each path, so far as I'm aware. Edit: AH! you mean like the rep points in Awakening! That system! I'll look to see what I have unlocked and add them to the list. Also, @Tooru, Thank you muchness. I will update my list immediately. Edit 2: I have my list updated quite a bit. PuffPuff
...Or you could just get them transfered and can pick up more in future runs. Actually better than having to endlessly level up! Edited September 25, 2015 by Oboro
Amanroth
...Or you could just get them transfered and can pick up more in future runs. Actually better than having to endlessly level up! What do you mean by "transferred"? Is there a way to store items and retrieve them in a different play through or something?
PuffPuff
What do you mean by "transferred"? Is there a way to store items and retrieve them in a different play through or something? Getting them out of your stored characters after you can transfer 5 at a time after beating the final chapter. Then getting them back out next game for a price that is usually high since the price goes up the more that they are trained!

You'd effectively be training a bunch of Einherjars in that case (No supports, and all items/weapons the character held are lost upon entering the logbook). And you wouldn't need multiple playthroughs; just save before the last chapter, use all stat boosters and whatever on them, beat the game without saving, buy them back and repeat until maxed. I maxed out the Ike amiibo in a matter of minutes doing that. lol
RafaelAntares
There's a way that I farm for stat boosters. I farm around 200k from the Gold DLC, then I search for enemies on the map. I search every location until I find an enemy whose leader is either a Ninja/Elite Ninja or a Outlaw/Adventurer. Those classes will carry either a Staff, Seal, or even stat boosters. I currently have 79 Stat Boosters, not including the ones that I already used.
