So like, if you dont want the hot springs, you dont have to lay it down. My Room is defaulted into My Castle as far as i know, but you get the option to remove it. So literally, you can have your My Castle be nothing but the Spotpass thing and the item/weapon shops (and maybe the cafeteria). And thats it. Or the prison.
