47948201
Uh, yeah, lately-ish I've been thinking about/looking for some, like, generic voice libraries freely available for stuff like games. You know, sounds like these that can be used when an ingame character jumps, attacks, gets attacked, or what have you. They're almost ubiquitous in games these days, but unlike a lot of resources, they seem to be pretty elusive unless you plan on hiring your own VAs to record all your clips--but the sounds are so generic, there have to be some sets out there, right...? Shin
It might be worth looking around, a quick google found this very quickly.
47948201
Yes, that's one of the first things that comes up, but for all the generic sfx it has, there's a severe lack of generic character voices here, especially for free. Stormwave is just about the only supplier of this kind of stuff, and while they're exactly what I'm talking about, and great for fantasy creature voices, the price is pretty steep, and they're a bit less generic than the human voices I was thinking of. (Glad you got me to look harder into that site though, because said fantasy noises are quite good, but well okay it's not that I haven't found anything, but I was wondering if anyone here had anything else, so yeah that is a useful provider to keep in mind, but still less free and universal than I'd like) Edited December 27, 2015 by 47948201

Augestein
It might be worth doing, honestly there aren't enough generic base grunts. I've looked around too, and I think I know exactly what you mean. Let me see what I can do.
