Anacybele
Another update with a couple more Ike lines. :) He has at least one dual-strike one too! Dunno why it took this long for me to find one of those for him, but oh well. :P Also, anyone that can provide the lines for Marth is appreciated! I'm thinking Robin and Lucina just retain their Awakening ones, so they're probably not necessary. I also keep bumping this because of the quotes thing. SF likes to gather as much info on each FE game as possible, right? Edited February 25, 2016 by Anacybele
TheWerdna
By any chance does anyone have the special combat lines for when Robin or Lucina fight Lazlow, Odin, or Selena? I am curious to see if they were changed at all or remained more or less the same as the Japanese version
Anacybele
Oh yeah, I forgot about those. I wouldn't know, but I'm surprise no one else has mentioned finding all that yet... Btw, I got a few more Ike lines in the OP. Working to find them all!
TheWerdna
Once I get around to playing Conquest I could actually find out and post them here, that just might be awhile. I am taking my time getting through all the routes.
Anacybele
Understandable, I do suppose most players right now just want to see the story. :) I mean, I do myself, I just love Ike too much not to recruit him as soon as I could. XD
Mark the Tactician
To get the amiibos to run the stores you have to scan them again and then talk to them after scanning them the original 3 times. Do I have to scan them every time I finish a battle?
Anacybele
I would think not, that would be kind of silly. But I scanned Ike after every few battles, I think, and finally battled him just before I did chapter 18. Then I grinded him a little. lol I only scanned him once more after that so he'd show up in my shops. I hope I don't have to keep doing that for him to appear in them though... TheWerdna
So I actually took the time to start conquest and get to chapter 12 so I could test both amiibo battles. It is rather odd compared to the japanese versions, some were changed to make it more cut and dry that these were not the same Robin and Lucina as from Awakening, while others (*cough*Inigo*cough*) made it more ambigious compared to the Japanese version. Vs. Lucina Odin: It can't be... Lucina?! What are YOU doing here?! Lucina: What?! Owain? What a surprise to see you here! Odin: Woah, woah! Shhh... I don't go by that name here. I'm Odin Odin: To barge in like this-- just like old times. So very like you Lucina... Odin: Hmm. How odd. Lucina: Huh? What's wrong? Odin: What's wrong? My eyes have opened! You're not the Lucina I know at all. Lucina: Are you acting? So very like you too. Owain-- I mean, Odin. Odin: Very well-- it seems you know me. And it seems I know you. Odin: I'll content myself with that for now. Regardless... Odin: I'll ask you not to slip up on my name again. Odin: In this world, I am known as a mighty hero, shrouded in shadow. Odin: My enemies tremble at the sound of my full name, Odin Dark! Odin: Commit that name to mem-- Lucina: Right! I'll do just that, Owain. So, have you named any more special moves? Lucina: It's been forever since I've seen your Sacred Stones attack! Odin: What?! Give a guy time to finish his big intro, will you?! ….. Lucina: What? Is that you, Severa? Selena: Yikes! Lucina?! What are you doing here-- I mean, in this world? Lucina: It's the strangest thing, really. I felt this mysterious call... Lucina: Then suddenly I wasn't where I was. I was here instead. Selena: Huh? That couldn't be any less clear. Are you being straight with me? Selena: Hey! Where's everyone else? Did they come too? Selena: Huh. Hold on. Lucina: What? Something wrong, Severa? Selena: You're... you're not the Lucina I knew. You look exactly like her, but... Selena: Is this some sort of ploy? Are you working for our enemies? Selena: Nah, I take that back. I can tell that you're some sort of Lucina... Lucina: Huh? None of that made any sense. Say that again, Severa? Selena: Whatever. Not like I haven't battled fiends that looked like my friends before. Selena: Back where I'm from anyway... Selena: As for now, prepare to fight. Lucina or sorta Lucina-- I'll take you down! Lucina: What a thing to say, Severa! Selena: Ha! It's been awhile since I heard myself called by that name, Selena: But from here on out, you'll use the name I go by here... Selena: Selena! Now, don't forget it! ….. Laslow: Hm? Why, behold a fair maiden standing near. Laslow: Care to chat? How about we slip off for a lovely stroll-- just you and I. Lucina: Inigo?! Laslow: Huh? Lucina?! Lucina: Right! Yes! It's me! But why are you in this world? Laslow: Why? I could ask the same of you! Laslow: By the by, could you do me a favor of not calling me by... that name? Lucina: Ever the man of intrigue, aren't you? Oh, you haven't changed a bit. Lucina: And to be asking off for a dalliance with you-- how flattering. Lucina: Tell you what. If you win, I'll gladly go off with you. Laslow: Hmm. Reall, Lucina? You're not just toying with me? Laslow: All right then, I'll win that stroll fair and square. Laslow: I do have a few questions I'd like to put to you in private. Laslow: Are you truly the Lucina I know? You're as beautiful as she... Lucina: I didn't quite catch that. Laslow: Never mind. Brace yourself fair maiden of mystery. Vs. Robin Odin: It can't be! Is it... really you?! Robin: Do I know you? Odin: No, it seems. And yes? What seemed clear a moment ago is now murky. Odin: Your look is familiar. Your face too... Odin: Even your aura rings true as a bell from my deep past. And yet...? Odin: Hmm. You truly don't know me? Robin: I'm so sorry. My memories are fuzzy. I think I'd remember someone like you. Robin: But maybe you can shake loose an old memory by giving me a good fight! Odin: Hmpf … Selena: Um.. what's going on here? You! Just a second-- WHOA! Robin: Huh? Why are you staring at me like that? Let's get to the battle! Selena: … Robin: Huh? Come on then. Are we going to fight or not? Selena: Hmm. Yes, hold your horses. I'm ready to obliterate you. Selena: Just thought I knew you, that's all. Selena: How dare you dress up like someone you're not-- imposter! Robin: Huh? Are you crazy? Or is this some sort of tactic to throw me off guard? Robin: I'll call for an end to this battle if you're going to stoop to dirty tricks. Selena: Don't even think about it! You're not going to call this off. Selena: Especially now that I realize that you're no friend of mine. Selena: Do your worst. I promise I'll do mine, imposter! … Laslow: … Robin: What's wrong? Have you lost your interest in this battle? Laslow: No, not at all. Merely taking a moment to... observe my opponent. Laslow: Let us continue. Though I'm not sure I can fight my best against... you. Robin: Ha! What a line! But I'm not fooled. This is just some sort of ruse. Laslow: It's true! You saw right through it, as if... you've known me forever. Laslow: … Laslow: (I can do this... Old friend or not...) Laslow: (I must battle my best!) Edited February 27, 2016 by TheWerdna

Based Goomy
Discussion of Amiibos goes here. Any questions or tips on the inner workings, strategies, or uses of Amiibos can and will be put here. The thread will be updated from time to time, to provide the most up-to-date information. So far, confirmed working Amiibos for Fire Emblem Fates are Ike (Vanguard) Lucina (Great Lord) Robin (Tactician) Marth (Lodestar) The upcoming Roy Amiibo is unconfirmed so far, but likely compatible. The Corrin Amiibo, currently in development, is unconfirmed so far but not so likely, due to the gender neutrality of the character. But who knows? They let Robin in. Only Fire Emblem character Amiibos are compatible with Fire Emblem Fates. (Sorry Shulk fans) Characters gained from completion of the Amiibo-accessible Hero Battles cannot gain support levels with any characters, Amiibo or not. They can still use the Pair Up option, but no support is gained. Hero Battles are unlocked after scanning Amiibo figures three times, but you must complete a battle in between each before scanning again. On the first two scans, the Amiibo character will give you one of its respective accessories, then go to work at either the Armory or the Accessory Shop. Upon the third scan, the character will challenge you to a battle. A map location called "(Amiibo's name) Hero Battle" will be unlocked until you challenge the location. If you lose, you will have to rescan to challenge them again. Upon completion of the Hero Battle, you will gain a unit based on the Amiibo character. From each scan onward, they will be sent to work at either the Armory or the Accessory Shop, where you can purchase either their Mock Weapon or Accessory, respectively. Each Amiibo character fights with their signature weapon. Ike uses Ragnell and has a proficiency in swords and axes. Lucina uses Falchion from FE:A and has a proficiency in swords. Robin uses Levin Sword Thoron and has a proficiency in swords and tomes/scrolls. Marth uses the Falchion from FE:SD and has a proficiency in swords. If and when Roy is compatible with Fates, he will use the Sword of Seals. EDIT: There was already a thread about this stuff. It's somewhere in the comments, if you'd rather go there. I was dumb, didn't realize it existed until it was brought to my attention. Edited March 3, 2016 by based_goomy
Jayvee94
Has anyone gathered the amiibos' tag team/pair up quotes?
Abysswalker25
Robin's are recycled from Awakening. Including the best line "Now that's strategy!" if his partner gets a kill.
Jayvee94
I'm curious with Ike's pair up/tag team quotes Does he say, "I fight for my friends"? Edited March 3, 2016 by Jayvee94
Based Goomy
I'm curious with Ike's pair up/tag team quotes Does he say, "I fight for my friends"? No. Not from what I've found. In fact, most of the time he's mute when he pairs up for me.
kingddd
"The upcoming Roy Amiibo is unconfirmed so far, but likely compatible." Highly doubt it. Development of FE fates have pretty much ended and it's not worth it for the developers to go back to the game just to add a compatibility for a single amiibo use. Nintendo has done crazier things. They're always adding Amiibo support to other games when a new one comes out. But we'll just wait and see. ZodiacSoldier
And to get both Accessories instead of duplicate, remember to pick option 1 the first time you talk to them, then option 2 the second time you talk to them (or vice versa)
NeonZ
I'm curious with Ike's pair up/tag team quotes Does he say, "I fight for my friends"? He has a "Sorry, Friend." quote, I think, but that's the closest thing.
Anacybele
I already made an Amiibo thread and it's not been dead for a month yet. http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=61120 Though it was buried farther than I thought. So it was probably easy to miss. Still, post there from now on. I'll ask that this thread be locked for ya. EDIT: Oh, those wondering about the Amiibo quotes, I've gathered (at least most of) Ike's. Sadly, he doesn't say any of his Smash lines, it seems. But I still think he has some good ones! "Shouldn't have been in my way" is epic for some reason. lol Oh yeah, Robin uses Thoron, not the Levin Sword. Btw, that "Sorry, friend" quote of Ike's is, believe it or not, one of his crit/offensive skill activation lines. lol I think he's trying to be sarcastic in it. Based Goomy
All right, sorry. Yeah, I didn't find anything fairly recent around, so I made a new thread. I didn't know. As for my information, I only know the Ike stuff personally. The rest I've gotten from various other forum sites.
Based Goomy
Do I have to scan them every time I finish a battle? I don't think you are required to, but it at least ups the chances they'll work in the castle.
Anacybele
No worries, it was an understandable mistake. :) And I see. I actually used my Ike on my team, so I was able to get a lot of his quotes and stuff. The official FE Wiki has his growths, but I noticed it didn't have any of his quotes aside from what he says when you first scan his Amiibo. I wish Ike could've had Strengthtaker in his own games though, this skill is sweet! He doesn't get it until lv. 35, but it's worth it! Naui
Currently, Roy's amiibo is listed as not compatible with Fates, though that may change given that I think that Fates is not entirely done with DLC given the "Wave 1" DLC label on the official NOA site.
