so it might be possible to have female Grandmaster without getting banned...

Eh, I placed my quote for your response on that thread but I'll say this. Witch is a female-only if I'm correct, if Shadowbans only happen during online usage (online battles and My Castle [other players]), then if the picture was taken while doing Challenges, you might not even get shadowbanned while you do that but you could get shadowbanned if you attempted to go online and go to other player's castles or to battle them. Grandmaster is male only, best to avoid taking risks to your save file and not try to hack. Being forced to rework through a lot of effort is not fun all the time.

I recently visited a castle and they had a female Grandmaster and I am wondering how I could reclass mine to it. I've never hacked so I don't know how.

The only two methods to get the Fell Dragon Brand (reclasses male characters to Grandmaster) are/is somehow buying it from your own Robin Amiibo and/or completing the upcoming DLC Chapters known as Hidden Truths I and II. In the case of the former, not many players have luck encountering Amiibos in the shop (they mostly find their Amiibos in the Armory). In this case, only the players who own the Amiibos will find said Amiibos in their My Castle's Armory and Shop. In the case of the latter, the DLC Chapters aren't even released yet in NA. For someone to have a FEMALE Grandmaster, that's impossible as Grandmaster is only available for male characters/units, only way to get something like that is to hack into the game as Robin is a HE not a SHE as an Amiibo.

I just want to be able use swords and magic like this person but I'm on Hoshido. I don't get why they would lock Grandmaster to males only considering Robin can be both genders.

The Robin Amiibo that you can possibly buy the Fell Blood Brand from is a Male version. I would heavily guess that the gender of the Amiibo would affect which gender would be able to reclass to that specific DLC Class if the DLC Class is gender-locked.
