I just found this site today and I thought this would be a great place for me to talk about fire emblem, or maybe even ask for advice on how to get through the games (specifically conquest). I first became a fan when I played sacred stones through the ambassador program. After beating the game (and tragically losing Joshua in the process), I fell in love with the series. Right now I'm playing through the last chapters of awakening and struggling to make progress in conquest. I know it'll be awesome to meet you guys and I'm excited to be a part of the community! Letting units die every chapter Oh yeah me too. Those enemy units with the axe/sword/lance reavers probably obliterated half of my team. Personally, I always check my enemy's equipment - it helps minimize the chance of getting caught off guard. Also, Fates has weapons that work like those did (ergo, inverting the weapon triangle and doubling its effects, except against another such weapon, in which case the normal weapon triangle is back in play).
