I am trying to recolor GBA FE's Wyvern sprites (all variants and promotions) in order to have a "black" as well as a "white" wyvern Overworld sprite that can also be changed to look red/green/etc. I am unsure of how to recolor them exactly, I tried using Ninian's Dragon OW from FE7 for a white wyvern but still have gotten nowhere. Has anyone successfully recolored wyverns in this manner? I've seen it done for pegasai, but haven't been able to get right it for wyverns... I guess it has more to do with how the colors are organized? The pegs can go from lightest to darkest, but that doesn't seem to be the case for wyvs. Anyone with experience have advice?
