DarkDestr0yer61
Okay Eclipse! Do your thing! I will be playing on Hard 1 and will do my chapter updates behind Chapter spoilers. [spoiler=Units] Marth, the only unit who won't be classed changed. His growths are HP 80% STR 50% MAG 0% SKL 40% SPD 50% LCK 70% DEF 20% RES 2% Caeda, the soon to be Mage. Just for the record, I am not going to bother listing growth rates for characters until they class change. Only she can use the Wing Spear, so I am going to use it as much as possible till it breaks or she class changes. Abel, the soon to be Myrmidon. I hate the fact that Cain is the one with the higher sword rank instead of Abel. So I am going to have to work harder at building the sword rank. He will never use that javelin of his. Draug, the soon to be Dark mage. From this point on I will only refer to him as Doga. [spoiler=Chapter 1-Marth Embarks] It begins! So it seems that enemies have C rank on Hard 1. Weapon rank affects certain aspects of weapons. C rank, for example affects it in this way: Axes gains +5 hit, Lances gains +1 damage, Swords gain +1 damage, Bows gain +1 damage, and tomes gain +1 damage. Not to mention weapons (at C-rank) gain +10 hit rate while at weapon triangle advantage. On the opposite side of the spectrum, when enemies are at a weapon triangle disadvantage, they lose all the effects gained by their weapon rank. I think this is one of the best mechanics that Shadow Dragon introduced. Good job, Shadow Dragon! This village contains 10,000 gold. Abel has weapon triangle advantage against the Pirates. Same with Marth. When I place Abel in this fort, the enemies should have about a 50% hit rate against Abel. Abel should reliably dodge their attacks. Reliably dodge their attacks. Reliably. Dodge. Their. Attacks. Doga will definitely get hit by their attacks, but he can take a bit of abuse. Caeda, on the other hand, will definitely get hit as well, but she can't take that much abuse. I didn't screenshot the 1st time, but this is the 2nd time I got hit by a 50-ish percent. I guess RNG hates me today 3rd time in a row.... 4th. Game, you can stop now. 5th. You. Can. Stop. Now. Caeda can 2 round, if not 1 round, these enemies fairly reliably. But she is going to park her ass on this fort for a while and heal. Oh good, he dodged an attack. 6th. Oh god dammit. Well, time to have everyone have a sleep over at the fort and heal. RIP turn count. 7th. Abel, when will you learn to dodge? 8th. Seriously, he has only dodged one attack this whole map. You came to the wrong neighborhood, mother fucker. 9th. I give up at this point. In this village, a generic old man gives us a healing staff. Gazzack killed the generic old man. What a dick! 3 damage? Yikes. And he does so much back to me. I am just going to have Abel sit there. Of course the enemy will dodge when I attack them with a 50%. I hate to switch to the rapier, but I want the crit rate. Caeda knows how to dodge! Abel, you can learn a lesson from her. And she gets a crit against him! Gazzack slain! Chapter 1 over! [spoiler=Level ups] Good start, Caeda. Good follow up, Marth. Abel is already disappointing me in multiple ways. Not bad. He got the two important stats. Acceptable. [spoiler=Character Death] Rip Wrys :(
Moblin Major General
Dodgetanking is close to impossible in FEDS. Defense is your friend in this game.
DarkDestr0yer61
Yeah, I know this game isn't dodge tank friendly. But even then, I dodged 1 out of 10 50% hits. I feel that I got kind of unlucky.
